Where your data lives
Hosted on Amazon Web Services
Your books are stored with AWS in Singapore, a location the DIFC Data Protection Law recognises as providing an adequate level of protection.
Encrypted in transit and at rest
Every connection to Purpl is encrypted, and so is the storage your data sits on.
Backups
Database backups are kept for seven days, in Japan.
How Purpl AI handles your data
Runs inside Purpl's own cloud
The assistant uses Anthropic's Claude models through Amazon Bedrock, inside Purpl's own AWS account.
Only what the request needs
Only your question and the data it is about are sent to generate an answer.
Never used for training
Neither AWS nor Anthropic keeps prompts or answers once a request is complete, and neither uses them to train AI models.
You agree first
Purpl asks for your consent before the assistant is used for the first time, and every change it makes is confirmed with you before it saves.
Who can see what
Roles and permissions
Give each team member only what they need, including a dedicated Finance Team role.
Face ID and fingerprint lock
Lock the app with biometrics, set up at sign-up or any time.
Your data is yours
Purpl never sells your data. Voice recordings are not stored. You can request account deletion in the app, with a grace period to change your mind.
